Some feedback:
David Househead – crikey! What an EP!!! Serious sickness dropped!
Jay West – Nathan Stewarts mix is the best of the EP Hands down. Will Play it out.
Jangatha – I like the remix Hoodfellas did of Paper Thin. Very original take on it while still keeping the feel of the original. The keys they added are a very nice touch
Combined – Wicked. Cool release! love the hoodfellas track!
High Maintanence –
What I Really Want (Nathan Stewart Mix)
Nice floating thumper with a nice warm bassline and some funky vocal chops.
The Rufus Foundation (Atom Helper Disbelief Mix)
Cool skippy beats, quirky techy bits, & some fly guitar chops. This will get quite a bit
of play from us country boys!
Paper Thin (Hoodfellas Jazz Bulimia Mix)
Hoodfellas doin’ up a proper mix of our good friend Jangatha’s Paper Thin here!
Funky guitar riffs, thick percussion, and a sick piano sample. Love Oh yeah, we likey!
Local Yokels – Derty Boys (Combined’s Jackin’ It Mix)
The always consistent Dave on the mix here and he does it yet again! A solid bouncy
jazzy number. We’re keeping him in Texas until all his basslines belong to us!!!”Clay Watkins –
Paper Thin (Hoodfellaz rmx)
This one is fun as hell! I like the snares that sound more like a break than a shuffle,
and I especially dig the bass. Solid stuff.Trevor Vichas –
What I really Want (NathanStewartMix)
Great vocal and hook line. love the vocal snips through out the whole track. Cool drums, groovin synth line and the bass line is a really winner. Solid production!! Charting this for april!!Frankie J – I love the quirky Atom remix of The Rufus Foundation. the guitar stabs take me back to my 2-step day….definitely my pick of the release.
Jon Hawley – Damn these cats can do no wrong! The hoodfellas mix is the cut for me.
Ornette – The Hoodfellas/Jangatha tune is the rocker of the bunch. Rubbery, rowdy bar house! I’ve played this out twice already and people are feelen it. We rage pretty hard in our crew, and this track reminds me of wild nights when we’re all hollering and spilling pints on the dancefloor.
