Crossing the Atlantic oceans and setting up camp for a birthday bonanza – Trippin’ Record presents Shelter as it celebrates its 18th Anniversary on the 30th May at Ministry of Sound!

1991 saw the birth of this pioneering baby, bridging the gap in the New York club scene after the descendent of the first ever super club Paradise Garage. A hard act to follow, Shelter rose to the challenge and is still standing stronger than ever! Ministry Of Sound welcomes its long distance brother with open arms! Twinned as being the first two super clubs either side of the ocean, this momentous occasion isn’t just a reunion but Shelter’s UK debut at Ministry of sound.

Founding Godfather Timmy Regisford, notorious for his endurance on the decks will be marking his territory as he rules the box taking us on a deep and soulful journey. Joining him for an exclusive live PA, Quentin Harris will be performing Shelter hit ‘cloud 9’ alongside soul sensation Donnie (Motown/ Soul Thought.) Better know for his DJ credentials this un- miss- able performance by Quentin Harris is a worldwide debut .

Having recently released a CD with Ministry Of Sound, UK favourite and long-time Shelter friend Jazzie B takes firm control of the bar, uniting the continents and enticing the crowd with his expertise in the very best of house.

No 18th goes unremembered and this night is guaranteed to be the talk of the town both sides of the pond!
