    Sound System is a bi-weekly podcast produced by James Courtney that promotes new electronic dance music. The show, launched in 2008, features tunes in a variety of sub-genres of house and techno. New for 2009, Sound System will spotlight selected DJ’s and producers that are relevant to local dance music scenes.     009 – SoundSystem Radio – w/ special guest LJ MTX of Metronix Recordings, Washington, DC

    The beat on LJ:

    – LJ MTX and Ciconte are now calling themselves The Octopus because they crush shit!
    – The Octopus (LJ MTX and Ciconte) debut on Exotic Refreshment this month with their remix of “We Like It featuring LJ MTX.”
    – The Octopus will be performing as part of the massive Red Gorilla Festival in Austin Texas on March 21st.
    – They will then be traveling to Miami for the WMC and will be performing multiple parties from Wednesday – Sunday.
    – Their EP will be released on Metronix Recordings late March called We Crush Shit Vol. 1
