For the past 12 months, the awesome System has brought Leeds’
most discerning clubbers some of the hottest underground house and
techno talent in the world to the legendary, intimate Mint Club, on the
first and third Saturdays of every month.
Cocoon stars Chris Tietjen, Reboot and Meat, Berghain residents Ben
Klock and Len Faki, techno royalty like Hardfloor, Dave Angel and
Billy Nasty, tastemakers like Kompakt boss Michael Mayer…the list
just goes on and on.
The line up for their 1st Birthday is as impressive as you’d expect.
Turkish techno talent Onur Özer leads the charge – an erstwhile
collaborator with the superb Tobi Neumann under their Sensitiva
guise, and an acclaimed producer in his own right, who mixed a
compilation for Berlin’s world-famous Watergate club last year.
Joining him is Cocoon favourite André Galluzzi, who amongst other
productions scored an underground hit alongside Guido Schneider
last year on the twisted funk of Albertino – played to f**k by Luciano
amongst others.
Expect a wide range of forward-thinking techno grooves from these
two stars and residents Cormac and Annie Errez.
And in case you didn’t know, the promoters of System are the
owners of Mint Club – meaning that you are guaranteed a thoroughly
debauched and special night on their birthday!
