As the wheels (of steel) of life turn all things mature and come of

age. Tonight The Doctor’s Orders, London’s premier Hip-Hop party

celebrates its 21st outing. Through the loving guidance of promoter

and resident Spin Doctor the infant night it found its feet among the

bustling night life of our capital, learning many a lesson through its

adolescence its become the confident being that holds the key of life

and the hearts of many of the capital’s Hip-Hop heads. Today as it

reaches a new high to proclaim to its dedicated fun loving followers

“Today I am an adult! Now lets make like kids and party!”

To mark this special occasion many of the people that have guided

The Doctor’s Orders through it’s formative years have come

together, alongside a couple of first timers, to aid it in shrugging of

it’s childish ways & help set its course to be a not so respectable

member of the clubbing society! This is without a doubt the night’s

strongest line up to date and the not to miss clubbing event of the

    month!

As ever the vibe is set by it’s power house resident Spin Doctor who

will be leading the celebrations with his usual blend of party bangers

both old and new! He is joined downstairs by one of he most

respected & most soulful Hip-Hop producers in the game J-Rawls. As

one half of Lone Catalysts alongside J-Sands he has produced 2

highly acclaimed full length albums, while also producing for the likes

of the Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Talib Kwelli & Jonell to name a few.

Tonight he celebrates the release of the “Rawls & Middle” LP with a DJ

set of the very best in classic Hip-Hop, Soul & Funk as well as a live

PA with Middle Child the vocalist on the album!

Also performing live in celebration of the release of his new album is

star of the UK scene Kashmere. With his second full release “Raiders

of the Lost Archives” hitting shops the week of the party there will be

no where to hide from this man’s ferocious talents, honed through

the thriving UK battle scene & under the tutorage of Jehst on who’s

YNR Productions imprint the album is released. Warming everything

up will be a man well known to The Doctor’s Orders and to any rap

fan worth their bling DJ Hooch. The man responsible for the

phenomenal UK B-Boy Championships and the legendary Funkin’

Pussy that gave many of the UK Hip-Hop scene’s current stars the

bug during it’s years as a weekly London institution.

Not to be outdone by the incredible line up below them the first floor

boasts a pair of the most skilled and imaginative DJs one could hope

to hear. Known throughout the world through his releases on Ninja

Tunes and BBE & his tours as One Self & Russian Percussion DJ

Vadim is also a well-known face here at The Doctor’s Orders. This,

his 3rd appearance at the club, will be something a little bit special as

he digs deeper than usual to bless the fun loving funky crowd with a

set of Soul, Boogie and Disco from yesteryear as only he can. Always

something a bit special are the DJ sets of the one and only Acyde,

whether spinning at Blacktronica alongside Charlie Dark or at

Gullyver alongside DJ MK he is sure to bring the party with his

distinctive mix of Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soul, Boogie and forgotten gems

that get the guys and gals shaking what their mama gave ’em!
