    PROFILE: Mr. V – DJ/Producer/Remixer – NYC

    His name is DJ Mr. V and he is the future of house music. Like Olympic runner Carl Lewis, DJ Mr. V, alongside Alix Alvarez and a slew of other young producers carry the torch for the next generation in this music we all know and love. On the eve of the release of his DANCE RITUAL PROJECT, BounceFM.Com chats with Mr. V about house and more importantly music. Unlike the slew of producers who’ve jumped on the (pick one) Brazilian house, African house, lounge house – bandwagon, DJ Mr. V’s latest release references the past yet carries us to the future. With his rendition of hip house (which BounceFM.Com believes is one of the many tentacles that will eventually push house music forward) Mr. V makes a straight up PARTY track that is guaranteed to take the Miami conference by storm in 2005. If you like warm drum sounds, Mr. V shines on this track. Oh yeah, and this track will ROCK in the strip clubs AND on the runway. Werk! Here’s some of what Mr. V had to say:

    I’m, currently using a Roland VS-1880 – an 18 Track Digital Recorder, a Roland XV-2020 – Sound Module and my Akai MPC 2000 . . .
