Friday 10th July: Tribal Sessions – Jeff Mills, Michel De Hey, Greg Vickers, Jozef K
Jeff Mills was part of the early techno movement, influencing thousands of producers, (including Richie Hawtin) with his Detroit techno sound. Mills today is a pioneer, paving the techno way for DJs and clubbers alike.
Michel De Hey was awarded Dutch DJ of the year award, his bouncy techno groove granting him this title.
Tribal chief Greg Vickers ends proceedings in the proper fashion with carefully selected grooving house and techno. Providing a fitting end to a somewhat perfect night.
Resident Jozef K kicks things off for tribal sessions; keeping the basement locked into a groove from the start.
Colour lends a helping techno hand in the form of Ed Mackie, Mark Anderson, Jay Knight and Tiptoe. Colour have hosted some amazing techno events, attracting the likes of Speedy J, Technasia and Raudive.
The techno feast also hosts Australian outfit: Shipwrecked Sydney with DJs Adam M and Smokin Jo Mekhael.
