Berlin has played a pretty immense role in the evolution of House and Techno of late. Most definitely one of Dance Music’ hubs, its clubs continue to shape mind blowing artists and parties alike. And if there is one club that has retained an untarnished… legacy for the finest of European beats, it is WATERGATE.
So now Watergate take their show on the road but keep the strong allegiance to the finest of the underground and have created a line up that stays true to this ethos. In short, the three headliners of this Party are by far some of the most experienced and talented DJ’s on this Planet and Sankeys is proud to have these legends of old and new underground come to Manchester. Expect a night of most organic music you will ever hear.

TOBI NEUMANN:
Self confessed Vinyl junkie, Tobi Neumann is one of the original German producers that made the scene there what it is today. In the early 90’s he become resident DJ at Munich’s Ultraschall II where he hosted the legendary Flokati House Club since 1998. Tobi has played most good clubs in the World and is a huge figure on Sven Vath’s Cocoon. His sets often go on for easily 4-6 hours and he remains one of the most in demand and dynamic DJ’s whilst in his 45th year!
DORIAN PAIC:
Founder of Raum.. Musik, Dorian Paic is another one of the German pioneers of the underground scene. The early stages of his career of his career saw him work in the Air Embargo record store located in the world famous Dorian Gray Club and later in the cult record store Boy in Frankfurt/Main. Dorian became best known for his residencies at the infamous Monza and Spectrum clubs in Frankfurt and together with the likes of Sven Vath, put Frankfurt/Manheim heavily on the dance music map. Playing the finest of House music his sets are often long, rolling and full of surprises!
MAAYAN NIDAM
Maayan Nidam aka Miss Fitz has been in massive demand of late, what with collaborations with Vera as Mara Trax, production work with Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves and a whole host of releases on Wolf + Lamb, Oslo, Sushitech and Frean N’chic. Born in Tel-Aviv and living in cities such as New York Amsterdam and Berlin she has a diversity of sounds that endlessly inspire her behind the decks and in the studio. It’s impossible to reduce Mayaan’s productions and DJ sets to a single sound, but certain qualities prevail: a loping, swinging, hips-and-ass-friendly sense of the groove; a bubbling sense of funk; a keen sense of timbre and tone colour, with a wooly low end and crystalline highs.
As a regular at the Marcy Hotel, Watergate and Panorama bar, she is sure to have Spektrum rolling till the very early hours.
