    RELEASE DATE: July 10th, 2009

Top artists collaborate on dance4life’s second album.

Amsterdam, July 10th, 2009. Following the success of dance4life’s first album in 2008, we are proud to announce the coming release of the second dance4life album. Artists including Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Gui Borrato, Anderson Noise, D.O.N.S., John Dahlbäck, Barbara Tucker and Chuckie have all granted the free use of tracks in support of dance4life. CD release date July 10th.

dance4life uses the universal language of music and dance and the collaborations with ambassadors and supporters to connect to young people across the globe.
Long standing dance4life ambassador Paul van Dyk says “I think that it is still very important to raise awareness amongst everyone to prevent AIDS. I’m supporting dance4life for many years now and I appreciate their work a lot. For the CD I’ve remixed a track of Nathalie, a great summer tune that gives you good vibes”

The support of the artists is of huge value to dance4life and it goes beyond just connecting to youth, in this case all profits from this album will go to several dance4life programmes around the world. Wessel van Eeden, music and media manager at dance4life says “we work with passionate individuals who acknowledge the potential and power of today’s young people. We are confident that this second dance4life album will be a success with such an impressive track list and we’re hugely grateful for the time and effort that our ambassadors and partners have dedicated to make this happen”.

The album also includes a collaboration between Dutch DJ team The Partysquad, Doyle Bramhall II and soul diva Erykah Badu, resulting in a Laidback Luke remix of the track “What You Live For” which will also be released as a single on June 24th.

This unique collaboration marks the beginning of Badu’s support for the global youth organization. She needs no introduction after a stream of hits including Grammy winning “Love Of My Life” and megahit “Tyrone”. As a social entrepreneur in her own right who shares dance4life’s values and vision, Badu recognizes the importance of creating social change.

Since 2007 The Partysquad have supported dance4life as ambassadors, raising awareness at various dance4life events. Now, with this new remix, The Partysquad will follow in the footsteps of artists such as Tiësto and Maxi Jazz who collaborated in 2006 on the last dance4life anthem. “When we heard it was possible to create a track with Erykah we went crazy! We have a lot of admiration for her and a shared desire to work on a track for dance4life together”. Ruben, The Partysquad.

The Partysquad feat. Doyle Bramhall II & Erykah Badu – “What You Live For” (Laidback Luke remix) –is available from June 24th exclusively as single download on Beatport.com.

dance4life’s second album will be released on July 10th and will be available on iTunes, trackitdown.net, audiojelly, djdownload and in the shops in The Netherlands and Belgium. BeYourself Music will support dance4life with the production, distribution and promotion of the album.
