    THE CROSS

    (KING’S CROSS LONDON)

    Press release:

Famous London venue The Cross hosts this night…a well known Italian clubbing concept.

Sundays at the Cross were not just a Vertigo night, Italian house master around Europe flavoured polysexualism abounds, they were and will be a truly event in London.

Vertigo has always presented quality clubbing with a special taste for Latin house.

With their monthly residency at the Cross, Vertigo has made outstanding parties like the Bank Holiday to come!

Special guests of the night will be the Tenax –Italy club crew and their DJs… It’s Florence and it’s September 1981 when in the new wave is confusing and messing around and when some young entrepreneurs decide to create one new club, alternative, careful to the new styles: the Tenax was born therefore. The premises soon becomes a point of encounter for artists, emergent designers and musicians and is now one of the most famous clubs of the italian peninsula.

Tenax has recently opened their small brother Tenax Bar Ibiza. It is a disco-bar, a club, a meeting point of the hectic movida ibizenca… It definitely is all this and much more.

Vertigo will be part of the 2006 Tenax Bar Ibiza project… so watch out for it while you will be in the island next summer!

On the night Vertigo and Tenax will be presenting djs Ralf, the Godfather of the Italian House music, Alex Neri from Planet Funk and resident at Tenax, and he certainly doesn’t need any details to be highlighted, plus Marco Solforetti – Tenax resident and Lorenzo Panico from Vertigo in the main room…while, David Piccioni, Micky Galliano (AKA Micky Guy) and Dj Salvo will be playing in the Lounge accompanied by a live performance set by Minimono, an artistic project who expresses the concept of modernity trough art and music by a collaboration between a dj and a musician respectively Fabio della Torre and Ennio Colaci. This sound concept is based on minimalism, with a touch of funk and groove.

The Vip room will be hosted by ElettroWave Italia – the electronic heart of the Arezzo Wave Love Festival which upholds the the project’s values of the cultural diersity , development of young talent and facilitates the access to the most interesting ideas on a national level. Elettro Wave is made up of a series of projects such as festivals, com-petitions, conferences, events and compilations which take place over the course of the year.

For this particular event they will be bringing to London a few Artists: U.D.O.:three dj’s with different skills (one turntablist, one computer geek, one dance dj) formed this combo just to merge their different attitude during impressive and rare live session.Samples and computer generated sounds are played live during a dj set always cut to

let the people dance with modern sounds and pumping beats. Fabio Della Torre: part of the Minimono and Carola Pisaturo: A warm groove, that remains veiled, flavored by little but essential lines of base, nearly continuously searching for one rare and visionary shape of dance reductionism. Every set is structured on an ideal dynamic curve, with a beginning, an end and an interval extended to a bright tension.

If you love the latin, modern and minimal clubbing concept… then Vertigo is for you! Hasta la vista!
