AAV – Wake Up, Listen to the Music, You’re Alive!
Alex Aguilar a.k.a. AUDIO VICIOUS passion for music began since 1989 when he bought his first guitar with barely 12 years of age. With 15 years old he performed at school some Pink Floyd covers but it was until 1994 when he discovered the world of underground dance music becoming a huge Sasha & Digweed fan. Having very limited equipment he began mixing, and in 1997 he signed into a University degree in music. The next year he bought his first turntables, developed his skills while electronic music scene grew it was “DJ Halo†Alex’s first nickname as a DJ and began playing in the most important clubs and events in Cholula, Mexico.
Audio Vicious has a style with a range from electro to tech & progressive house, going from one style to another, then back again seamlessly. As a producer, Audio Vicious also names him self as AAV producing his own tracks with a touch of deep & progressive house, and by the nick of DJ Halo Mx used to make some electro house tracks. Audio Vicious is currently working with Adriana B. as “HamsaHâ€, producing and mixing together progressive house & electro clash.
In 2001 he settled his studio giving him the opportunity to experiment with his production career, leading him to release BIT Records México (BRM) in 2004 on which he published “Yaxche Collectiveâ€, a collection of 4 CDS: Chill out 01, House 01, Trance 01 & DJ Sessions 01 (mixed by DJ Halo MX), with the help of other producers, getting a national distribution.
The same year he wins an international DJ Contest hosted by http://www.beatfactor.net . The 2hr winning set was published on Proton Radio. As a result of this, he got his own 2 hr. show at http://www.club246.com, and now a days he hosts his own show at http://www.adnalternative.com.ar broadcasting every Monday & Saturday.
Going further with his record label, in 2005 he released BIT Records Digital selling tracks in MP3 format with worldwide distribution at http://www.releaserecords.com, http://www.juno.co.uk, http://www.resonantvibes.com, http://www.djdownload.com , http://www.trackitdown.net , http://www.neomusikstore.com and http://www.3beatdigital.com.
His tracks published on BRM are being supported by DJ’s around the globe like Sandra Collins (Perfecto Records, US), Stefano Greppi (Screen Recordings,UK), Night Architeks (Tasty Lick Records, US), Sultan (Yoshitoshi/Release Records/Tao/Swift, CAN), DJ Pepe Camil (Nordika/Supernova, MEX), Atone (Ocelotl, MEX) and many more great DJs.
Now a days BRM has more than 15 artists on its roster coming from Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic and France, and is part of the Balance Records Pool (USA) and Release Promo (CAN).

Rey Aguilar – Texas Eeeeeha For The Quality Electro
Rey Aguilar has become one of the South Texas’ most sought after dj’s which is quite an accomplishment for someone who has just turned 18. He began gaining notoriety for his skills on the decks when he was just 15, a sophomore in high school, headlining stages at events and clubs with dj’s 5-10 years older than him. He also earned his first residency at age 16 at Club Agave Blue in Reynosa, Mexico. A gig that would soon launch his career as a club dj in Reynosa as word of mouth spread about his ability to give the crowd what they want. Already mastering the creative art of mixing and programming, Rey felt he needed to add more arsenal. Since he admires turntablists like Dj Craze and Mixmaster Mike, it was only natural that he practice turntablism. His newly learned skills helped him take his dj game to another level quickly earning the respect from fellow dj’s as well as their gigs. It was only a matter of time before Rey became the go-to House dj in South Texas as his name was the first on every promoter’s list opening for acts such as Bad Boy Bill, Mixin Marc,Miss Lisa, Steve Smooth & JJ Flores, Kid Icarus , Bryan Cox, Alex Peace, and Dave Aude. By age 17, Rey had attained the experience and knowledge of the club scene that many djs older than him dream of. A veteran dj and still in high school, Rey began tinkering with production software and now he has his hands in the production game producing his own tracks of the electro and house persuasion. On top of that, Rey joined forces with his friend Fern Arguello to form Retrovox, a dj/production duo which is currently the hottest dj act in South Texas. They have been making quite a name for themselves in the Rgv playing at virtually every club and event in the Mcallen area and also getting nods for their productions from Dj’s and Producers like top electro producer John Acquaviva, The Verdugo Brothers out of California ,and Granite and Phunk, one of America’s top house production duos. Recently, they have made the Rgv proud by having one of their tracks, Keytar, signed by MTY Records out of Mexico which is out now!
