You’ve got to give the new album Kunuaka by Makossa & Megablast a listen, bound to be something for everything there… from ragga tinged broken beats thru dancefloor monsters to more chilled out bits. Quality stuff as ever from G-Stone. Also one thing I’d overlooked for a bit out of Estonia’s Julm Records is Next Sound (remixes) by Rulers Of The Deep featuring Capitol A… some nice dancefloor oriented beats with Capital A dope as ever.
For you deep house heads we are pleased to get French label group Spacecraft Productions on board. Some nice deep house on their Spacecraft and Sexy Toys imprints (i won’t make a silly joke at this point). For those of you into your beats minimal have a look at the Frostwork EP by Laurine Frost, sounding pretty deep.
Some nice soulful vocal tunes on the Eddie Silverton album Lost Lounge, a few gems in there, give it a peek. Take a look also at the new Mo’ Horizons album … And the new bohemian freedom which is on a latin and jazzy tip. Also check out some great jazzy / boss vibes from The Juju Orchestra in the shape of Bossa Nova Is Not a Crime.

Pleased to announce the entire back-catalogue from the Ishtar stable of Schema Records, Big Sur, Milano 2000 and Sensible Records all up earlier this week as digital downloads on Digital Tunes, as ever available in CD quality FLAC in addition to MP3 and OGG.
Underground jazz heavyweights Schema Records no doubt need no introduction,with jazz, bossa nova, brazilian and nu-jazz flavours from artists such as Nicola Conte, Soulstance, Rosalia De Souza, and S-Tone Inc just to name a few. Big Sur takes the Schema sound and evolves it for more dancefloor friendly beats. No doubt the Salvo Somebody EP is remembered from a good few left of center dancefloors.
Milano 2000 is Ishtar’s more experimental label, concentrating on putting out compilations that explore new sounds and ideas. Quite a few artists from Schema put out material originally on Milano 2000, such as The Dining Rooms and S-Tone Inc.
Sensible Records is home to a wide selection of ethnic jazz sounds from around the world.
