    I’m quite new to producing myself but have found ableton is a really good piece of software to get started, and the more you learn the more you can get out of the software, and the better your productions will sound! I’ve found samplepacks a godsend too, this is the best site I’ve seen so far – http://www.clickproduce.com you can search by genre and instruments to find what you’re looking for.
