Alright, so I’ve been listening to/producing drum n bass for a year or two now, especially in the liquid funk style, and I really want to get into some house music that resembles this. When I say liquid funk, I don’t mean the more deeper atmospheric stuff like LTJ Bukem or Klute, because I’ve heard deep house, and I love it, but I really want more upbeat stuff like Danny Byrd (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh6-ap0VLAg), High Contrast (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=203FfH4ODPM) or London Elektricity (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtnIH6OAsNA)

So something lovely and jazzy but being upbeat and partyish as opposed to chilled out and deep? I know its out there, cause liquid funk has to get its inspiration somewhere (all dnb is other music with a fast 2step under it anyways ). Help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

heh nice – almost same story here. I am a Liquid DJ for a few years now, and love that “positive-energy”-drumandbass, especially danny byrd, Nu:Tone, etc.

Would love some Artist/Label suggestions on this topic. 😉
