    La Red Bull Music Academy : ovvero l’unico modo per trovare degli innovatori della musica oltre che nuove motivazioni e tecnologie. E’ un posto dove le idee sono in piena armonia con il sentimento di amicizia e vengono condivise da subito. E’ dove grandi amanti della musica riescono ad avere un contatto con gente che magari pur essendo più famosa di loro,riesce benissimo a farsi spiegare e a comunicare con loro ,nel modo migliore che conoscono ovvero tramite la musica.

    Ogni anno un gruppo di partecipanti sono selezionati per diversi scelte e gusti musicali,culture e bravura nei loro sets.Avranno l’onore di mixare e di divertirsi in questa esperienza e,nel 2004, la location sarà Roma,in Italia.E’ una città piena di dinamicità e di contrasti fra una cultura classica e allo stesso tempo futuristica.Quindi,sperando che qualche italiano come Mixx Kiara ha fatto l’anno scorso a Cape Town,riesca a far domanda dal 17 Maggio al 3 Luglio.

    L’anno scorso hanno partecipato molti ospiti fra cui Jerry Rodriguez aka Osun Lade, famoso per il suo stile afrodeep,Erlend Øye dei King of Convenience nonchè vocalist prestato ai Royksopp e molti altri.L’avventura a Cape Town viene descritta come fantastica : una vera e propria accademia fornita di computer,decks,mensa,libreria e tutto ciò che serve per provvedere al lavoro ma anche al divertimento.In più i ragazzi avevano un tot di serate da fare durante la settimana.Quindi,perchè non provarci?

    The Red Bull Music Academy: a unique environment where musical innovators shed light on the history, the motivations and the technology behind the tunes that you love. It’s a place where ideas are expanded and friendships are forged in real time. It’s where sonic theorists meet up with beat junkies and communicate the best way they know how – through music.I hope to see some other italians as Mixx Kiara did it last year in Capetown.

    Each year a group of participants are selected from a diverse range of musical landscapes, cultures and skill sets. They are mixed together to jam experiences over two fortnight-long sessions, and in 2004, the location will be Rome, Italy. It’s a city of dynamic flux and contrast, of classic culture and futurist beats in the heart of Italy.So don’t forget to apply between May 17th and July 3rd.

    Last year Osun Lade,Erlend Øye and many more parteciped to this great opportunity in Capetown : an academy full of computers,decks,library,resturant.. so you can work and have fun.Finally,you will have to play in some clubs during the week.So,why don’t you partecipate?
